Etsy update

In between the daily family/home/life things and teething (poor Dominic has 4 teeth coming in at once!)- I have been {slowly} updating my Etsy shop. Here's the latest: http://www.etsy.com/shop/dreamingbythesea

I have so much more to add, and I can't wait to finish updating, because I can't wait to keep creating.

While I am here, I'd like to thank a few people for their help.
First up, my sister Paola for her help getting everything linked together. She saved me SO MUCH time and her suggestions and ideas have been great!!! I love that in between working and school Paola has taken the time to help me out.

Next is Beth from eat. drink. smile. for help tips for getting things going with my Twitter account. (You can find me here: http://twitter.com/#!/AntoinetteS525 ) Beth has an awesome food blog. Reading about her travels and food experience makes you:
1- HUNGRY
2- THIRSTY
3- makes you feel like you are there
4- makes you want to go to all the places she mentions RIGHT NOW
5- print off a lot of recipes (check out Meatless Mondays!)
Beth- thank you! thank you! thank you!
You can find Beth here: http://twitter.com/#!/betheats and here: http://www.eat-drink-smile.com/

I hope the rest of your weekend is fabulous!!

Spaghetti Sauce and Olive Jars...

I saw this project somewhere and I cannot remember which website it was. My 8 year old, Alex, walked in when I was working on this project and decided to make one of his own. I used the spaghetti sauce jar and he used an olive jar. All you need is tissue paper (we used red, orange and yellow), some punches and glue dots. Oh yes, and a tealight. Super easy and it's the kind of Halloween decoration that you can give as a gift. It took us about 15-30 minutes to make these. I love that Alex's witch is stirring her brew on the moon. He layered the tissue to look like a sunset, but it also reminds me of candy corn.
