My Trusty Old Pentax K-1000

There are some things that should be left alone. Pizza for example. Why put weird things on there? Basics are sometimes all you need. Cell phones? Great thing but sometimes you just need to turn it off. Internet and Caller ID- 2 of the greatest things invented. iPod- the greatest invention. Ever. (At least for me.) E-mail? I love this one, but I miss the days when I would check the mailbox, and to my surprise there was a letter or card from a family member or an old friend. E-mail is a very cheap way to share pictures with loved ones that are far away. Which brings me to my point. I have a point and shoot digital camera that I use quite a bit. It is great to be able to share pictures right away. I remember one day Matt was a Home Depot or one of those places, and he needed to know how something looked (I don't remember exactly)- I took a picture and E-mailed it to his cell phone. I like that part of technology. These little digital cameras take good pictures but they don't always capture exactly what you want. So this is why I haven't posted in 2 months. I have been using my old, beat up, trusty Pentax K-1000. It is completely manual, I actually have to make sure the settings are correct. I feel like I am the one taking the photo, not the camera. I have been using the Pentax because I realized it has seen every important event in my life since I was 18- newborn babies, weddings, birthdays, outings, family, friends, you name it. I actually found myself wondering if Wal-Mart still develops film. Crazy!! So...Wal-Mart does, and when I finish the roll that's in there now, I will have them developed and I will post. With Alex playing soccer, Sebastian helping the coach and the leaves changing colors, I should have some great ones in there. Oh yeah, and there is the one of the pig in the road while I was on my way to work...
